| I have labelled this blog 'Random' as it is to an extent a review but towards the end it will become fairly random. I recently came back home for a month-long easter break from University (the UK does some things right) and have become in close distance to a rental outlet and have decided to try games that I've had no intention of buying. The first was Bully. I feel with this game that my opinion is swayed because it is made by R*. I was hoping this game could hold off my need for GTAIV to come out but I just don't think it can. It's not a bad game but there are things about it that stop me from even achievement whoring on it. The load times, last-gen graphics and repetitive gameplay just tested my patience a little. The humor is there but it feels like it will take longer than I will give it to finish and I thought that I would move on to the next. The next one I got was Lost. which sucks. I don't want to talk too much about it. I knew it was going to be bad but my loyalty and love of the show made me do it. I don't have too much of a problem with it except for the fact that they include the inevitable dark cave sections in the game... why do developers insist on making sections of games so frustrating and dark and difficult to navigate. It's not fun, why have it? I expected better from Ubisoft... but at least there's no Mexican Rebels. I am also very sick right now which sucks worse than Lost... but I can't imagine anyone cares too much about that.... |
